Hello again… writing from the kitchen of the barn, having a late coffee. I keep calling it a barn, but in all fairness, it’s a house that used to be a barn and has a ton of old rustic character. We’re still in the process of setting this whole place up so we can actually record in it. In the meantime, there’s a practice space set up so we can just sort of mosey over to our instruments and play. It was super cold last night (after amazing Spring weather just a few days ago) so we lit a fire. All in all, I can tell this is going to be the record making experience for our band to date. In other news, we downloaded a cool time lapse app and have some video of us setting up - I’ll try to post that soon. For now, I’m going to go play with keyboards and presets to try to lock down some sounds I want to use on the new songs. Jesse and Jay (@jayscalchunes) are testing out guitar amps and drum sets in the main room. I’ll instagram a picture of that too for ya. Xo!
